Whats the different between light gyuto and heavy gyuto beside the weight? Is it just preference? So far i handle my friend konosuke gyuto and i think its so light, but i haven't get the chance to use it. I been looking for 240mm gyuto to use as my main knife. Thanks for your input.

The difference between a light gyuto and a heavy gyuto is relative weight. That is all the information we are given!
What knife(s) are you used to using? What is your point of reference?

I been using shun pro chef knife and tojiharu sujihiki. Sometimes using yanagiba.

Ah. The konosuke is thin, and will give you more of a feeling of falling through food. You pay for this because it will drag a big more going through food.
They are good knives, and assuming it is sharpened properly, you will be happy with how it performs compared to the Shun and Togiharu.

Maybe i will try lighther knife.which one you recommend between Konosuke HH, Moritaka or konosuke HD2?

Moritaka's are carbon blades usually, which will patina and react with foods. The HH is a stainless steel and the HD2 is a semi stainless. It will get a dull grey patina on it, but nothing like a carbon knife will Patina. All will work well. Another one to consider is the Richmond Lasers, AEB-L steel at 61 rockwell, very thin blades.

They are all good choices, but the Moritaka is not stainless at all, so I'd go with a different one, unless you are ready to care for your first(presumably) carbon steel knife. Gotta be diligent about wiping and drying.
Just pick the one that tickles your fancy the most, they are all comparable to one another.

Its down to moritaka and konosuke HH. I love the Kurouchi styles of moritaka and heard a lot good review about it.

I find the edge retention of the HD better than the HH.....
