I would certainly agree that the right side had far more stiction prior to the touch-up. The right bevel also had a far higher polish than the left, and it is true that the Chosera left it less mirrorlike, so: Good interpretation cheffiec!
Additionally, I confess to being inexperienced at sharpening 'the right way' - as learned from videos on this site, so, correct again on the wobbliness - though I was careful not to do too much on my first session with this Kohetsu, and indeed, any angular changes will be tiny.
Thanks for reinforcing the point that a light pass on a stone can do a lot to alter the blade's characteristics. I guess I got lucky and the change was for the better in this case :D
