well i marked them and now need to refinish the blades and find proper wood for the handles (thinking might do one with purplehart)

Those are a couple truly interesting profiles in there. A melange of sexy steel, for sure...

Butch have you seen that landscape ziricote? find one with the spalt to go with the curve of the handle ..oh my .. those are some awesome profiles !

k woods i used for handles are curly purplehart bocote cocobolo olivewood and cherry

ok so what are the thoughts on handle shaped leave them boxy and round the corners, make them more oval orrrrrr keep them kind of boxy but grind the corners off and make them kind of WA isk

I think the obvious answer is do a mix of handles, but my choice would be your last option... octagonal.

I would say do the last choice, but like Melampus said, go for a mix of handles.

went with WA angled bevels as it just looked better in my eye and it will keep the blade from moving around in hand
