I like the 120 a lot because of its speed but its a special stone and should only be used for large bevels like such found on a yanagi. If used for normal double bevel knives you will have multiple problems that you simply don't want. I can't speak for the 150 but I like the 180 for its harder binder and slow wear rate. Works good to flatten too and not wear quickly when doing so.

Thanks again for the insight, Jason. I'm going to take a serious look at that Nubatama 150 grit. I think it might round out my lower grit collection nicely.
