Yep , you will have lots of fun how high are you going on synthetics before swapping to the jnats?

I can do one of two things. I could stop with the Snow White, or I could go higher to Shapton glass 16k before. Which do you suggest? I'm actually in process right now. Stopped to eat lunch. What would be your suggestion for the razors?

Well I like to use a little bit of overlap when swapping from any one type of abrasive to another. Diamonds - synthetics , synthetics - naturals.
The Yaginoshima can cover a fairly wide span , but the further you go on snythetics , the faster things progress on the Jnats , I would go all the way to the 16k glass. Then raise a mud on the yaginoshima with your tomonagura , work that for 15-20 minutes , then repeat on the nakayama.

I just got the yaganoshima this past week, already had the nakayama. Stepped to the yaganoshima from imanishi 10k with a few straights. I didn't work the mud for 15 minutes, really more like five. Maybe I need to spend more time refining. Either way it's my best razor edge yet with that progression on a case temperite. I think you'll be really impressed. Enjoy.
