I'm wanting to give some relatives a knife for christmas.
I was thinking of the Richmond knife block, A Tojiro pro roll sharpener, the Tojiro shears and the Richmond Artiflex 210mm.
The relatives will need a handheld sharpener, otherwise they just won't sharpen the knife. I thought the Tojiro might have the 15o angle as it's Japanese, is this correct?
The Richmond Artiflex seems like a great value knife though I'm wondering if it's size might be a bit daunting for novice users, do you have any recommendations on this?
Are you able to give me an indication on postage costs to Australia for two sets of the above four items?

A 210mm knife really shouldn't be daunting to anyone. With how light it is, it seems rather small and it's what my wife has really taken to using. I would think this would be the ideal size.

What do you mean by size being daunting? The 210mm chef knife is about 8" long so that's not a big knife.
We do ship to Australia and the cart will give you an accurate shipping estimate if you hit the "apply" button before you complete the check out. It usually takes 2-3 weeks depending on customs.
I think my knives would be good for a gift. They're stainless, easy to maintain and hold their edge well.
Give them this hand held sharpener. I gave one to my father who has no interest in sharpening and he likes it:

Don't buy a block for one knife! Buy a magnetic rack or a sheath.
Other than that, it's a great choice.

As usual I agree with brother Eamon.
