Tue Apr 24, 2012 7:16 pm

Here are our general shipping rules.

We offer Free Ground Shipping on all orders over $60 in continental US. Ground orders up to 2 lbs ship USPS (about 2 knives). All Ground orders over 2 lbs ship FedEx Ground. AK and HI over 2 lbs may be charged additional shipping cost (we'll email you before we send it). Shipments to Military addresses over 2 lbs require additional charge (we'll email you). International orders ship via USPS. International duties/taxes that may be collected are your responsibility. Questions; call us at 608-232-1137.

We also ship to Puerto Rico a lot and will sometimes require extra postage there too. I use Flat Rate and Regional Rate boxes whenever possible to HI, AK, and PR to keep postage costs down.

Stay tuned for my next topic of discussion: What is the Black Hole of Internaional Shipping? Anyone hazard a guess?

i've seen all sorts of stuff get shipped my country (Philippines) all the time. it's just the matter of how much you're willing to pay for shipping and the matter of bribing a money grubbing local official.

and there are other ways of getting whatever you want through other channels.

usually these days, it's not if the packages don't arrive at all, it's more like how long.

Mark, the app on your checkout page for calculating FedEx 3-day, 2-day, and overnight shipping rates is broken -- brings up a message about the app no longer being supported by FedEx.

Thought you would want to know....

Thanks Doug, Fedex just switched the way we get the shipping rates and it must have broken the calculator. I'll get it fixed.
