Ok, here is the question. What was your favorite or least favorite meal you were served when you were a child?

I always loved eating my mother's pizza casserole. Hamburger meat, pepperoni, cheese, green and black olives, tomato sauce, and a dough top. It was wonderful!!

Loved me some fried chicken when I was a kid!

So many favorites and least favorites to choose from.

But I'd have to go with favorite of kraft mac and cheese and boiled hot dogs. Kinda makes me gag now, but i loved it as a kid... And anything to do with ice cream.

Least favorite would have to be broccoli, meatloaf or cabbage rolls.

Chicken cacciatore, although we always called it kitchen cacciatore as it seemed like everything but the kitchen sink was in it. Good times :D

My mother used to make liver that was gross. Chipped beef in some white sauce over a piece of toast was another terrible one. :)

She made lumpy cream of wheat that I kind of liked. I love my mother but she was rough around the edges in the kitchen. For much of our childhood my sister and I were on our own when it came to meals.

Definitely Chinese roast pork takeout at my grandparent's house.
The pork belly, with the fat and juiciness.
The skin is so crisp.

Eat with white rice, and some ginger/green onion oil.
That's the taste of my childhood.

Loved tortellini; also a fan of a German dish called "Spaetzle".

First time a family friend brought us to Korea Town NYC for proper Korean BBQ - all the fixins, grill on table, cook your own food. Still a favorite but back then it was mind blowing, like some bizarro underground DIY Benihana (a place which I loved as a kid)
