Working mom had little time to cook, so we at the refrigerated "tortellini" and iceberg lettuce salad every. single. night. Least fave by far!
Went to a wedding when I was about 8 y.o. and got a big slab of medium rare prime rib. I got addicted at first bite. Any time it was on the menu I ordered it. Much to my father's wallet's chagrin.

Favorite: probably any large holiday meal... Thanksgiving dinner or breakfast on Christmas morning.
Least: probably liver and onions (mom and dad made sure we got our iron!), or anything with cheese. (i'm a lactard.)

For dinner, a little weird, but mine and my sister's favorite; tomato soup with a halved boiled egg, followed by Norwegian pancakes (slightly thicker than a crepe), filled with jam and/or gjetost (a sweet Norwegian cheese made from goat's whey), rolled up and eaten by hand. Yum!

Country fried steak, mashed (real) potatoes, white gravy made with the pan drippings, green beans flavored w/ bacon and onions, and slice tomatoes.
I would still eat it today.

Least favorite:: Liver. My mother told me I couldn't leave the table until I ate it. I sat there for 3 and a half hours before she gave in. Good thing. I'd still be there. It was horrid looking!
Favorite: Hash. Ground beef and potato with lots of vinegar.

My absolute Favorite was when my grandma made her beef stroganoff. It wasnt like anyone elses. Its has a pinkish reddish sauce made with 1 ca nCampbells tomato soup, 8 oz sour cream, few splashes Worcestershire and Tabasco. She would add that to some chuck that was simmering for hours in a nice brown gravy and served it over rice... My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Try it sometime!!

I'm going to say cottage cheese pancakes. Didn't require much knife work to make!
