I remember only one meal I would not eat. I think it was lamb chops with some sort of ungodly smelling cheese. I still don't like lamb for that reason. The odor is embedded in my mind to this day.

Everything else growing up was wonderful. What still sticks out in my mind is my grandmothers pork chops with her outstanding gravy. She also made the best pies and biscuits ever. I've never sampled better.

My mom made and continues to make some amazing korean style braised shortribs. Served simply over rice with some kimchee. Makes me miss that home cooking!

Least favorite was a dish that was, no lie, called "stuff" i don't know what was in it but my dad made it and it was incredibly awful.

My favorite food growing up would have to be my grandmas cheese and onion enchiladas with beans, rice and a fresh pico de gallo. But a close second would go to her menudo with her fresh tortillas.

Any form of fish was my least favoured meal I cannot bear the smell or taste of any seafood nor do I like to touch the skin of a fish.

It was scalloped potatoes because mom put onions in them, I spent many hours sitting at the table alone while my friends were outside playing and I couldn't go out until my meal was done.
