Oh, the handle is punched like that for heat treating normally; most places need a hole to hang the blade as they dip it.

It looks like a nice handle. The handle is like a japanese/french hybrid. I do like the design. Some people get carried away with kinky curves and forget that the user actually has to hold the handle. Great job...Speaking of Job...did you get the new job?



Yeah in the other thread I mentioned I got the job.

I tried to make a japanese wa handle just with a little more flair and personality to compliment the blade.

I do have olive wood from Bethlehem and an off cut off the blue nose 2.

Beautiful work Lunatic. I too would love to try my hand at knife handles, no idea where to start but seeing these pictures is motivating.
