We have the sayas back in stock now. Sorry for running out. They're popular.

You got the Konosuke?! Oh yes! You are going to be one happy man when it arrives... oh I'm a little jealous of the feeling you are about to experience after unboxing it.

I've got Tetsuhiro tsuchime knives right now, and they are indeed top notch, but the Konosuke tsuchime is just a little tighter all around IMO, everything pops just a little more and the handles are cut perfect with nice sharp lines. A very beautiful knife indeed.

Also, the Konosuke is a little bit shorter than the Tetsuhiro, although when compared to the taller Tetsuhiro, they are the same thinness behind the edge, and the grind is nearly identical also.

As for getting this as your first handmade Japanese knife, you are going to hard-pressed to find something nicer for a long time.
