We have a massive amount of Edge Pro products so we figured it would be good to have a whole section on how to use the machine and what to use on it.

Final strop choice

Hey I'm looking at getting the chosera edge pro custom kit as a sort of "travelling kit" and was wondering if I got a single, last stage strop, which would you recommend, bearing in mind I wouldn't be using any additives, only water for the stones. Leather seems the obvious choice but I'm stuck between which type of leather, and even then to go 1 inch wide or 2 (unless you can recommend something different altogether).
Thanks in advance, it's great to see so many good reviews you obviously have a great product and customer service.
James.

Horse butt is the way to go. It works without compounds and improves the edge nicely.

Consider the 2x6 inch Kangaroo strop without compound. It's finer than cow or horse and will leave you with the finest finish.
