It can be a michelin stared tasting menu, a dive bar, a plate of pad thai or anything that taste great. I think since there are so many members from all over on this forum it could be a cool way to let people traveling or on vacation know of a cool spot to eat. I'm sure a lot of us are very passionate about food, and eating, being that knives are a tool for cooking. I'll start.

In lexington, KY there is a little Thai place, ran by a couple from Bankok, called Bangkok House. Hands down best pad thai I have ever had.

Michael Mina's in SF was the fanciest, most composed meal I have ever had. It was amazing. champagne, lobster, Duck with pinot from burgundy, waygu with a awesome cabernet. Also the most I have ever spend on diner, It was after my wedding, so it was cool. I will never forget it. the desert was so good.

Third, if you love chili and are ever in Louisville KY, there is a small bar called Check's in german town that has a great bowl. I love the chili there so good and meaty.

Great place where I'm located called the Montreal Deli. Best corn beef, pastrami and Roast beef sandwiches you'll ever have.

It's my dirty pleasure, we always order it to go because you eat it like an animal. Comes with a nice dill pickle and slaw.

I love that place and will be a regular customer.

I highly doubt any of you guys will ever be up here in Canada land but if you do, you gotta get some real deal poutine. None of that fast food trash. I mean real deal poutine.

My favourite is from another deli called Caplansky's where they make poutine from smoked meat gravy. Just to die for!

In addition to what Lunatic mention, Cromesquis de foie gras @Pied au Couchon.

Here in Vancouver, Dover Sole w/Beurre Blanc @Le Crocodile has been my favorite dish since high school. :)

Beurre blanc is one delicious sauce. I love eel too. Foie gras, yummm. You know they outlawed it in CA.

Right Lunatic!!

It was voted best burger in the twin cities, but man... if you're in the area craving a burger... it just smashes that craving.
Not to mention from 5pm till 5:44pm every night these puppies are half priced!

Lunatic> The more I work in a fine dinning the more I love greasy cheap soul food. It's like a rebellion haha.
