This one is really easy too.
4 lbs rump roast
1 10.5 oz can of beef broth
1 10.5 oz can of condensed french onion soup
12 oz beer (guiness works best)
6 french rolls
Cheese for Rolls
Trim excess fat from roast and place in slow cooker
add cans of beef broth, french onion soup, and beer
Cook on Low for 7 hours.
Butter rolls and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees
Add meat and cheese to rolls and eat. Use the sauce for dipping.
This one always goes over well.

We do that recipe here too. Except we use French Onion soup and recipe mix in powder form instead of condensed french onion soup.
Another advantage I live in the Philadelphia area, we have quite a variety of good rolls to choose.
I have always called this recipe French Dip

Yeah, it's great. The kids love it every time I make it. I usually double it up and freeze half of it for a quick dinner later on.
