You have the most interesting looking "western style wa" handles (that's the only way I can describe them lol) I have ever seen. Interesting in a VERY good way too, not just a "hmmm... interesting..." way. ;) lol I also like how the tang tapers down from the blade to the butt of the handle as well. I would imagine that helps keep the full tang handles from being as heavy as a full-on western handle.

Definitely a very classy style. :)

I definitely try to get the handles as light as possible. On most of my knives I will drill holes in the tang to help with this; on the big red one I even skeletonized the whole thing, which brought the balance pretty far forward as I was aiming for.
