I think it is a great idea to make a ko-deba.
I use my petty to break down small fish right now and have been looking for a decent ko-deba (or smaller,) but most sites/stores either don't carry something that smaller or carry something that significantly lower quality than their hon-deba.

I have been wanting an ajikiri in the 120-135 mm size range. I use a 165mm deba now for fish and enjoy using it. However, it's on the large size for panfish. I did find one I could order, just haven't yet. I don't know how large a market there is for something like this, but I know I'm interested in getting something along these lines.

Here are specs on one I looked at. It's considered a 120mm. Blade length: 4.75 in.
Total length: 9.65 in.
Blade width: 1.65 in.
Blade thickness: 0.20 in.
It is single bevel.
