Here you go...


TRADITIONAL INDIAN CURRY

This recipe is for 1kg of any meat type

2 to 3 medium onions
6 medium potatoes cut into half inch cubes
2 finely chopped tomatoes
4 tblsp garlic & ginger paste or
2 tblsp fresh garlic & 2 tblspoon fresh ground ginger
2tsp tumeric
3 tsp chilli powder
2tsp dhania powder
3 tsp barishop
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp garam masala
4 cardamon pips
8 curry leaves
1 can (420g) coconut milk
4 tsp brown sugar
4 fresh green chillies halved lengthwise
125ml cooking oil
175ml plain yogurt
Salt to taste

METHOD:

Braise onions in oil till soft
Add meat & brown – remove from pot
Add all dry ingredients together with 250ml water & add to pot
Add coconut milk & let sauce simmer for 10 minutes
Add potatoes & tomatoes & meat & cook till done
Add salt to taste
Add 175ml plain yogurt just before dishing up

Rookie, Is that your kitchen? Very rustic. Also are you using a pressure cooker to cook the curry? You've got quite a strong ingredient list, I love adding an apple to the final stages of the curry. The acid really brings the flavors out.

Nice work. Big meal for a big guy huh Rooke!

That is called a piccolo fridge - stores 1 liter milk & is hooked up to the coffee machine which makes cuppa chinos etc...
