Here are a few shots of the stock urasuki & strangely enough Henkels sent them from the factory with a distinct back bevel that looks around 15-17 degrees; unlike any other Kataha I've seen. Furthermore, there is no grind on the back side's spine as that back bevel is clearly too acute to had been guided by the spine.

His sure doesn't look like that now but I appreciate the pictures. I think if I get that blade back, over time the I will be able to get the blade road very flat by removing all the high spots, and that that entire portion of the knife will be uniform.
Then again......I kinda never want to see it again either.
