I guess you guys have stricter cell phone policies, because where I work, all I see are "chefs" looking at their phones instead of utilizing the down time properly.

Not ever said to me. I hate the feel of a dangling phone in my chef wear pocket. Plus when I goof on'em they can't lasso it back around to me.
My Kono 270 funy hd arrives to the kitchen on Wednesday and I'm looking to see what my next purchase is gonna be.
