Is there a Japanese equivalent to the flexible western boning knife?

After looking I will probably go with the Artifex boning knife. Not looking to spend alot on a lesser used knife.

I haven't found one myself. I use a Victorinox but I have in the past and will continue to consider an Artifex when I decide to upgrade.

I've always liked the global boning knife. soft enough to endure any damage it might incur without chipping.
