There are a handful of undersized diamond stones out there made by dmt, smiths, and others that'll work. My gfs parents have the 3 in 1 system by smiths and it puts an ok edge on things and its very compact; however, if you really care about the knives you use, I'm going to second the idea of a knife roll and just bring your own. No use wasting time sharpening other peoples garbage, especially if you are on vacation.

Used to travel with my shapton glass before I bought a straight razor with disposable blades.

320 and 1k is too close, especially for cheap knives If you are going with Shaptons, consider the 220 or 120 for reestablishing a bevel plus the 120.

Much better travel set than the Nubatamas.

Same thought but I would go with a 2K glass stone only. It still cuts fast enough and gives a nice working edge. I guess you could add the 320 as well if you wanted to save some time or were doing a bunch of knives.

The glass stones are ideal for travel. Light, slow wearing, fast cutting and splash and go.
