Best Nakiri

Ok guys, I wanted to ask for advice for choosing a nakiri. I'm a cook and have been using german steel (wusthof, i know i'll probably get clubbed to death, but hey, it's the best you can get here in argentina) and since i'm planning a trip to usa i wanted to purchase a top quality nakiri for veggie prep.

As far as the questions:

I'm right handed
Looking for a nakiri
I wouldn't mind a large nakiri since I have large hands
Looking for aogami super but might take other options if you guys have different reccomendations
I'm indifferent about handle shape, though I like the look of the more traditional japanese handles.
I'm looking to spend up to $300 USD (if there's an excellent choice for a few more bucks I wouldn't mind, let's say $400 tops for an exceptional piece)
I do know how to sharpen.

Butch makes the best nakiri I've ever used, seen, owned, or known about. Mine is 180mm version, and I do prefer that length, but if 170mm is in your length restrictions, and you truly can push to that $400 budget mark.....don't hesitate, just buy it.

I'm with Adam on this one, if you can swing $400 you'll never have to or want to buy another Nakiri again. Butch makes the best Nikiri on the planet.

I had the masakage koishi in mind, how does it compare against Butch's?

The Koishi is a bad a$$ knife. It's a very tall Nakiri @ about 60mm if that's your thing. F&F is very good, handle is really sweet, great core steel, awesome traditional KU look, but with stainless cladding. I haven't held the Harner, but Adam's comments should carry a lot of weight for you - he know his stuff (inside and out :-)). I'd say they would both be one and done purchases - meaning as Jeff mentioned, you'll probably never think "I wish I would have gotten ..... Nakiri instead".

I love Butch's nakiris too. Custom made and really great grinds.

How would the Tanaka Ironwood compare to the Harmon?

I'm not a fan of the cpm154 steel, other than that it looks pretty amazing. Though I've been more and more attracted to the Takeda stainless clad nakiri with the AS core. The video review looks amazing.
