Thanks!! But if you want to see out of control, I will take a picture of my shed!!!! I haven't vacuumed it at all in like 2 months. Some places have 1" thick of sanding dust near the belt sanders. Tin foil trays all over the place with epoxy scraps, boxes with remnants of fabric pieces, etc. Looks like a war zone! I gotta get it cleaned up and organized one of these days, but I've been having too much fun with the knives.
This USA Camo handle is just about done! I thinned it out and rounded it a bit more so it didn't feel as blocky and took it to 320 by belt, then 400 by hand. It won't feel as smooth as other materials because each material sands slightly different and feels different depending on the thickness of the material, how much it was pressed, which side is showing on top of the handle, etc. I have some Tru Oil wood sealer I will try on it to see how that does to even out the materials. I tried polishing one of my original pieces of Camo material and it didn't look all that great. Now I usually do 400 grit, Tru Oil and they are usually good to go! Plenty of traction on the handle when it's wet, too.
Now I get to sharpen this one up!
