1911 <> Although I answered your question literally, Jason absolutely raised a poignant fact which offers you new set options. The ultra-hard Glass Stone set<-- link is relatively inclusive, and the still hard yet more forgiving Pro series<-- link that I find to offer more feedback can be had as a set w/o all the accouterment.

Holy shit that's a big number. What did I get you into! :)

Actually Red, if we're talkin' math, 55 a day would take Jason 363 days to do 20K knives 8-). Say about 90 days of sharpening over the summer = 222 KPD (knives per day).

I know, there's always a smart-a$$ in the group ;-).

One knife every 5 minutes is 12 knives an hour. Would have to work 18.5 hours straight to do 222 a day.
I can believe Jason did 20,000 in a year but not over the summer, but hey, who am I to say. I evolved most of my sharpening technique watching his video over and over.
I probably did 40-50 in the last year :ugeek: not thousand,. And that's only because I did a lot for my family!

I didn't say all were done by hand ;)

As for the math, its about 100 per day.
