We have a massive amount of Edge Pro products so we figured it would be good to have a whole section on how to use the machine and what to use on it.

8K STONE

Thu Jan 17, 2013 4:48 am

Looking for a new 8k stone, have only used the naniwa snow white and the sigma power ceramic 8k,prefer the sigma out of the 2 but looking for something more non dishing with a high level polish.

Considering the shapton pro or gs 8k,and the nubatama 8k.

I have the Shapton Glass 8k and it does a very nice job. Very dish resistant.

The Shapton pro and glass stones are going to be harder than any of the other stones mentioned, so the dishing rate will be slowest, with the pro winning by a slight bit. Feedback will be less. If this is your chief criteria, that's the data.
