Gesshin ginga is a great knife, amazing F&F, and holds the edge very well. I own both ginga and kono 210mm pettys. The only difference is ginga slightly thinner, ginga 1.8mm vs kono 2.2mm above the hill. Edge retention are about the same, and to sharpen both of those knives is a real joy. Another big advantage is ginga comes with a free saya whereas you need to pay an extra $30 for the kono saya.
