Re: 210 Gyutos with less stick

Received Thursday, practiced sharpening on the stones with an old knife and did pretty well. The 210 Richmond Laser AG Super Wa-Gyuto? Never seen or used anything like it before. So far, I love everything about it: handle, edge, balance, look, feel, heft. A question for y'all: what is the meaning of the 3 Japanese letters (or is it words) hand stamped into the left side of the blade? Does it mean "Richmond Laser" as on the right side, or is it the name of the Japanese maker? Just curious .... Thanks.

The Japanese characters are called Kanji.....and I can't recall what Mark decided to put on the blade.
